As a young boy I lost my Dad. For years I wondered what it meant to have a father, be a father, and how a father bonded with life and a family. I had that chance, late in life , with my father in law, Dr. Morton Goldmann and his daughter Leslie Goldmann. By witnessing her love and respect for her dad, I felt a similar love, and a respect for his wisdom and leadership. I kept a journal of my time with him and recorded my wife's suffering at the loss of her father.
